To recognize outstanding achievements in masonry design and construction, Masonry Contractors of New Jersey co-sponsors the prestigious New Jersey Golden Trowel Awards
in conjunction with the International Masonry Institute and the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers New Jersey Locals 4 & 5. Masonry projects throughout the state of New Jersey
are honored for excellence in masonry design, quality craftsmanship and the commitment to build with masonry. The awards recognize every segment of the project team who contribute to
a project’s success, including architects, owners, general contractors, masonry contractors, masonry suppliers and manufacturers.

The Golden Trowel Awards represent the essence of the collaborative vision and expertise of these teams who have created some of the most beautiful and functional structures in the State.

In addition to a Grand Prize award, several awards are given to "best of" categories that include commercial, educational, community, residential, landscape and restoration projects.
